We are absolutely delighted to share some exciting news with our Burman Alumni family.

During our Burman Alumni Perks launch, Kim signed up, had her name entered into our early bird draw, AND was selected as the winner of a $1,000 prepaid Mastercard (generously provided by our Alumni Perks partner TELUS). What a great way to begin this new chapter together!

Where Life Has Taken Her

Today, Kim calls Calgary home, where she lives with her sons. She is currently the Executive Director for the Healthcare Operations for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada. As a registered physiotherapist for 25 years, she continues to lead with compassion and dedication, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others through her work in healthcare. 

Beyond her professional life, Kim loves exploring the mountains, travelling whenever she can, cooking and experimenting in her kitchen, and listening to audiobooks while doing it all.

Favourite Campus Memories

Like many of us, Kim has too many memories to count, but a few really marked her. She fondly remembers being part of Acronaires Homeshow 1994 and touring Jamaica with the team, as well as beginning her lifelong commitment to weight training at the PE Centre. She also remembers the endless rounds of Dutch Blitz games in Maple Hall with two decks and eight sets of hands, the excitement of floor hockey tournaments in the gym, and the quieter moments of Sabbath School and study sessions in the Science Centre atrium. Last but not least, she can’t forget all the tater tots in the cafeteria!

These memories truly remind us that while our time on the Hilltop might only be for a season, but the friendships, the laughter, the late night study sessions, and the shared experiences last for a lifetime!
